Born 1898, son of Ned & Elizabeth. Married Dora Sheppard; 2 children. Worked for Railway in Ontario and the Bonne Bay Highway. Returned to Lark Harbour and fished until retirement.

Royal Navy, joined 15 Sep 1941. Went overseas with the 18th contingent. Completed training on HMS Ganges & then went to HMS Europa. Served in Far East, Mediterranean & Atlantic Ocean. Did convoy duty in the Atlantic to Archangel, Russia, and England. Some ships he served on were: HMS Edinburgh Castle, Minesweepers 2021,HMS Philaotite, HMS Eaglet, LS 295 & HMS Helicon.

Born 8 Dec 1922, son of Gilbert & Susannah. Married Lavinia Barnes, 15 Aug 1946; 6 children. After war he fished, worked with Dept of Highways and did carpenter work.

Royal Navy & Forestry #280014. He joined the Navy initially, but his eye sight was below acceptability and he transferred to Forestry. Six months later he was accepted back into the Navy & assisted in removal of the British Army from Dunkirk.

Born 19 Jan 1920, son of James and Ethel. On return he fished and worked on various jobs

Dentist, avid sportsman who worked with sports events, married Mazie ;4 children; Enjoyed outdoors - farming, fishing, running & snowshoeing.

Royal Navy, #220955; went overseas with 11th contingent. Completed training on HMS Ganges, served on battle cruiser HMS Manchester, but was ashore on a torpedo course when she sunk. Served on the HMS Edinburgh Castle in West Africa. He also did North Atlantic convoy escort to England and Russia. He served on HMS Satzer, HMS Caroline & HMS Orlando.

Born 6 Nov 1920, son of George & Anne. Upon discharge in England he stopped in Ireland and met Harold Childs who was there on HMS Snowflake. John married Ruby Robinson; two children. After the war he fished and owned and operated a general store on Little Port Rd. for many years. He was lost at sea.
